A correctional facility is seeking a family nurse practitioner for locum tenens coverage.

The facility is located about 1 hour west of Richmond, Virginia.

This adult practice position starts ASAP for 3-6 months with the option to extend, seeing 18-20 patients per day Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm or 4/10s, with no call. Candidates can be MDs or autonomous NPs/MDs. The role requires a VA license and DEA, and support staff includes RNs and LPNs. The EMR is paper-based with Sapphire used for prescriptions. Candidates should be committed and prepared to complete credentialing.
