A FQHC is seeking a Family Medicine Physician for locum tenens coverage.
About the Facility LocationThe facility is located in Chatham, Virginia.
About the Clinician's WorkdayThis Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm role (within a facility operating 8:00am-6:00pm) is for an MD only, as they do not need NP/PA support. The position has no call and averages 18-20 patients per day, serving all ages. Candidates must be board certified or truly board eligible with an active VA license and DEA. The site is supported by multiple physicians, midlevels, MAs, and front desk staff, and uses eClinicalWorks. The ideal provider is comfortable treating all ages, performing pap smears, working efficiently, and ideally has ECW experience, as the facility has struggled with locums who work too slowly.
