The facility operates with established protocols during regular business hours and maintains appropriate equipment and systems to deliver quality primary care services to patients requiring both routine and complex medical interventions.

The clinician will provide comprehensive family medicine services to adult patients in a correctional facility setting, managing 18-20 patients daily Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with no call requirements. Clinical responsibilities include conducting thorough patient evaluations, managing chronic medical conditions, providing preventive healthcare services, and treating acute illnesses while maintaining accurate medical documentation. The position requires Virginia licensure and DEA registration for autonomous practice, working collaboratively with registered nurses and licensed practical nurses to ensure optimal patient outcomes within the correctional healthcare environment.
