This correctional facility provides comprehensive healthcare services to the adult population in a secure environment with dedicated medical support staff. The facility operates with established protocols during regular business hours and maintains appropriate equipment and systems to deliver quality primary care services to patients requiring both routine and complex medical interventions.

The physician will provide comprehensive family medicine services to adult patients in a correctional facility environment, managing diverse primary care cases during standard business hours Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with potential for four 10-hour shifts. Clinical responsibilities include conducting thorough patient evaluations for approximately 18-20 patients daily, managing chronic medical conditions, providing preventive healthcare services, and treating acute illnesses while maintaining accurate documentation in the Naphcare EMR system. The position requires no call coverage and involves collaborating with registered nurses and licensed practical nurses to ensure optimal patient outcomes within the specialized correctional healthcare delivery framework.
