This occupational medicine clinic provides comprehensive workplace health services and urgent care treatment in an outpatient setting. The facility serves both private companies and governmental agencies through scheduled appointments and walk-in services. The clinic utilizes AllScripts EMR system and typically provides new clinicians with a one-week orientation period alongside permanent physicians before independent practice.

This area offers diverse outdoor recreation opportunities including hiking at Mt. Baker, kayaking and whale watching in the San Juan Islands, and visiting attractions like Snoqualmie Falls and Lake Washington. The region features natural landmarks such as the Columbia River, Whidbey Island, and Stevens Pass, along with seasonal attractions like cherry blossoms at the University of Washington and the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival. Visitors can access full-day tours to Mt. Rainier and whale watching excursions from nearby Anacortes.

The nurse practitioner will provide comprehensive occupational medicine care treating work-related injuries and urgent care patients in an outpatient clinic setting, working Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with no call requirements. The clinician will manage 20-25 patients daily with 90% occupational medicine cases and 10% urgent care, performing pre-placement, DOT, public safety, and surveillance physical examinations for private companies and governmental agencies. The position requires DOT certification prior to starting and involves completing all documentation using AllScripts EMR system while maintaining professional behaviors including welcoming, skillful, and respectful interactions at all times. New clinicians receive one week of orientation alongside a permanent physician before working independently.
