A primary care clinic is seeking a family physician for locum tenens coverage.
The facility is located about 2 hours from Madison, WI.
The clinic is looking for a provider to start as soon as possible for a 34 month assignment. Credentialing takes approximately 90 days but can be expedited. The schedule is four 10-hour shifts per week, with a preference for the off day to fall on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday. Each shift includes 8 hours of patient care and 2 hours of administrative work. There is no call required. The provider will see about 20 patients per day, covering all ages in a bread-and-butter family medicine setting. BE is acceptable, and candidates must have a DEA license and ACLS certification. COVID and flu vaccinations are not required. The ideal candidate has prior clinic experience, can work independently, manage multiple tasks, and must be comfortable treating patients from cradle to grave.
