Gastroenterologist

Position Type: Full-Time, Day Shift

Practice Setting: Solo Practice / Hospital Employed

Location: Gadsden, AL 35901

Responsibilities:

- Provide comprehensive gastroenterology care in an outpatient setting, including patient consultations and follow-up visits.

- Perform a variety of procedures such as Esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD), Colonoscopy, Bravo pH Monitoring, Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), Halo, Endoscopic Mucosal Resection (EMR), and Fecal Transplants.

- Collaborate with hospital staff and participate in on-call duties (1/3 schedule).

- Maintain accurate documentation and utilize EMR systems efficiently.

Qualifications:

- Successful completion of an Internal Medicine residency and Gastroenterology fellowship

- Board eligible or certified in Gastroenterology

- Unrestricted Alabama Physician License

- Current BLS, ACLS, and DEA certification
