Gastroenterology Physician Locums Job in California

Details/Requirements of Assignment #109471:
--Scope: Monday-Friday 7am-7pm (can take less, i.e. 8am-5pm)
--Reason: Primary GI group’s managing partner no longer able to cover due to his GI fellowship PD responsibilities
--Volume: Cover two hospitals: Up to 8-10 consults between both locations; Up to 3-5 procedures between both locations
--Board Certified or Board Eligible GI required
--License: Current, active California license required
--Background: Strongly prefer clean background and no medical malpractice for quick credentialing; but may consider very minimal history
--Start date: June
--Credentialing: Can issue temps / emergency privileges with clean file
--Dates of coverage: Ongoing until perms are hired or other GI coverage secured
--Availability: Up to 10 days per month
--Procedures: General GI; ERCPS can be transferred to a nearby hospital; EUS not required
--Additional providers: A resident from an affiliated IM residency program assigned to the GI service majority of the time
