Gastroenterologist Locums Job in California | Starting Summer 2026
Job Requirements for Assignment #113573:
*California State Medical license
*Board Certified Gastroenterologist
*24-hour ED call only
*General Bread & Butter coverage
*ERCP and EUS not required
*Averaging 8-10 consults per shift
*Seeking 7-14 shifts per month
*Mid-level support Monday-Friday
*Coverage includes weekend call
--Gastrointestinal Procedures (Outpatient): Approximately 714+ procedures per year.
--Lower GI Procedures (e.g., Colonoscopies): ~382 procedures.
--Upper GI Procedures (e.g., Endoscopies): ~332 procedures.
--Emergency Department (ED) Context: The hospital’s ED sees over 60,000–65,000 patients per year, many of whom are referred to specialized GI care for acute issues.
