EUS/ERCP experience is required. Interventional gastroenterology fellowship training is preferred.

About Our Organization
SCVMC hosts four residency programs and one fellowship training program, and partners with Stanford University SOM and Stanford Healthcare for the clinical training of medical students, residents, and fellows. SCVMC is an ACS-verified Level 1 Trauma Center, a Level 2 Pediatric Trauma Center, an ABA-verified Burn Center, a Primary Stroke Center, a Level 4 NICU, and a nationally recognized CARF-accredited Rehabilitation Center. Owing to its geographic location and specialty offerings, SCVMC not only serves the County, but also the larger region. Regional Medical Center (RMC), the newest addition to the Health Care system, is a level 2 trauma center, STEMI receiving center and Thrombectomy capable Stroke Center. In addition to the busy inpatient services there is an outpatient clinic located on the campus to facilitate efficient elective outpatient practice.

About the Department
The Center for Digestive and Liver Health has 14 full-time gastroenterologists and 6 advanced practice providers spread across all 4 hospitals. We provide comprehensive expertise in ERCP, EUS, capsule endoscopy, balloon enteroscopy, transplant hepatology, IBD, motility disorders and nutrition. We hold several educational conferences each week with our colleagues from surgery, interventional radiology, medical oncology and radiation oncology.
About the Position
We are seeking a full-time board-certified/board-eligible gastroenterologist to join our dynamic, growing Center for Digestive and Liver Health. Expertise in EUS/ERCP is needed to support growing clinical needs across SCVH. The successful candidate must be passionate about treating the full scope of GI and liver diseases in our diverse patient population. Teaching opportunities are available. Strong interpersonal skills and camaraderie are also necessary to maintain the great collegiality we enjoy within our division and collaboration with colleagues across the hospital system.
