General Gastroenterology Hospitalist Locums Job in California

We are urgently seeking a Board Certified General Gastroenterologist for inpatient hospitalist coverage at a premier, stand-alone cancer center in California. This role focuses on inpatient consult services and procedures within a specialized, state-of-the-art facility.

Available Dates:
--March 16 – 20, 2026
--March 27 – April 3, 2026 (additional shifts may become available)

Schedule & Shift Details:
--Duration: 7-day blocks (Monday – Sunday)
--Shift: 24-hour pager coverage required (7am to 7am)

Scope of Practice:
--Inpatient rounds and procedures daily
--Volume: Low-volume, high-quality care environment typically consisting of 1–3 new consults and 1–2 procedures per day.
--Facility Features: Specialized evaluation treatment center (ETC) and ICU.
--EMR: Epic

Requirements:
--Board Certification in Gastroenterology
--Active California medical license
--California Fluoroscopy license
