Gastroenterology Locums Job in Colorado | 24-Hour Call | Urgent Coverage Needed December - January | Assignment #110961

Coverage Needed:
-- December 23, 2025 - January 1, 2026
-- 5-7 days per month

Shift Description:
-- 24-hour call: Monday through Sunday, 7am-7am
-- Credentialing timeframe: 60-90 days (Emergency privileges possible within 1-2 weeks)

Requirements:
-- Board certified in Gastroenterology 
-- Fellowship Required
-- Must be licensed in Colorado or IMLC
-- Active DEA certification, will consider a transferred DEA but must maintain during duration of assignment
-- Clean Malpractice/Background - Highly Preferred
-- Local/drive-in candidates preferred (will place providers who are local as a Tier 1 provider)

Required Skills:
-- Must be able to perform ERCP and EUS
-- Scoping, Endoscopy, GI Bleed, and evaluation of GI problems

Assignment Details:
-- Level 1 Trauma center
-- Patient population: Adolescent, Adult, and Geriatric
-- 8-10 new patients and follow-ups
-- 5-8 scopes per day
-- 24/7 intensivists and hospitalists, trauma services are on site
-- Unless 15 years old and 50 kg for pediatric trauma, no pediatric patients admitted into facility
-- EMR: Epic
