Gastroenterology Physician Locums Job in Florida | Assignment #110043

Coverage Needed: at least one week per month coverage

Shift Description:
--Inpatient daily 24 hour call coverage hours: Monday- Sunday, 7am-7 am
--Depending on location, may be nightly, may be every other night.

Details/Requirements:
--Applicants for initial appointment must be able to demonstrate inpatient or consultative services for at least 50 patients during the past 12 months.
--ERCP is REQUIRED.
--EUS - Required previous experience: Demonstrated current competence and evidence of the performance of at least 24 EUS procedures (mucosal/submucosal, pancreaticobiliary, and EUS-guided fine needle aspirations) in the past 36 months
--Must have an active Florida license, clean background and clean NPDB, must be Board Certified and must meet all procedure log requirements to be booked.
--Cover one location per day and ideally one location per stretch of dates. They do ask for flexibility to move between locations but do NOT generally ask for travel mid-day.
--GI Inpatient Hospitalist. Consults, follow ups, scopes.
--Patients per day: 10-20
--Support Staff: Advanced Practitioners, hospital support
--Procedures required: Colonoscopy, Endoscopy, and ERCP
--Additional surgical staff: Endoscopy unit with full staff
--Must allow 30 days for credentialing
