Position Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Gastroenterologist (MD or DO) who is Board Certified or Board Eligible. The ideal candidate will bring clinical expertise, a patient-centered approach, and a commitment to excellence in digestive health care.

Location: Hilo, HI
Pay: $750,000 / year
Position Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic procedures such as endoscopies, colonoscopies, and liver biopsies to evaluate and treat gastrointestinal conditions.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, including history-taking, physical examinations, and diagnostic evaluations.
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs, preferences, and medical history.
- Collaborate closely with healthcare team to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
- Document patient encounters, treatment plans, and follow-up recommendations accurately and timely in the electronic health record system.
Minimum Qualifications
- • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
- • Board Certified (BC) or Board Eligible (BE) in Gastroenterology.
- • Valid medical license to practice in Hawaii (or eligibility for licensure).
- • At least 3 years of experience as a gastroenterologist after completing gastroenterology fellowship program.
