Two Advanced Gastroenterologists Needed in Chicagoland Area | Hospitalist/Call Coverage Starting ASAP | Seeking ~30 Days per Month Starting in mid November + Ongoing

Jackson and Coker’s valued client in the Chicagoland area is seeking Advanced Gastroenterologists to provide GI Hospitalist coverage starting in early to mid-November and continuing into 2026. The opportunity calls for two physicians to share a full-time call schedule (up to 30 days per month), with the majority of coverage (≈80%) at one primary facility and additional coverage at a second hospital located just 30 minutes away.

Details/Requirements Assignment #111318:
- Active + unrestricted IL medical license, DEA & CSR
- Must be actively Board Certified
- Seeking Advanced GIs (skilled & actively doing ERCP + EUS)
- Seeking 2 physicians to split a full-time call schedule (either working a 7 on, 7 off rotation or covering 2 consecutive weeks per month)
- Cases to anticipate: ERCP, EUS, Colonoscopy & Upper Endoscopy, PEG placement, Stent placement, Esophageal dilation, Management of GI bleeding, Hemostasis & Polypectomy
- Will spend 80% of your time covering at 1 facility (level 2 trauma designation, 400+ beds,  Epic EMR)
- Wil spend 20% of your time covering at a 2nd facility (not a designated trauma center, 180+ beds, Epic EMR)
- Shift details: will be on 24-hour call coverage and spend a minimum of 8-hours each day in the hospital doing patient rounding, ED consults/procedures, etc.
- Must be comfortable with working with Fellows in training while covering 
- Will have APP support
