Gastroenterologist – Employed Position
Suburban Alton, IL
A well-established Digestive Health team in the Greater Alton, IL area is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Gastroenterologist to join a collaborative and thriving practice located just 15 minutes from downtown St. Louis.

Practice Features

Large, modern Digestive Health Center located on a hospital campus

4 dedicated endoscopy suites with capacity to expand to a fifth as volume grows

Shared support from experienced Advanced Practice Providers

3.5 days in endoscopy and 1 day clinic per week

Immediate volume—current schedules booked out 6+ months

Opportunity to perform ERCP, EUS, and advanced GI procedures

$50,000 signing bonus

Role Summary
The Gastroenterologist will provide outpatient and inpatient GI services, perform endoscopic procedures, manage continuity of care, and collaborate closely with the care team, advanced practitioners, and hospital partners. Teaching and mentorship opportunities may be available if desired.
Requirements

MD or DO degree
-
Completion of an ACGME-accredited Gastroenterology fellowship

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology

Eligible for medical licensure in Illinois and/or Missouri
