Gastroenterology Locum Job in Kentucky | Full Time Coverage Ongoing | Beginning in September | Assignment #110338

Coverage Needed: Full Time Coverage Ongoing Starting 9/1/2025 

Shift Description:  
--Monday-Friday (7am-4:30am or until the procedures are completed) 
--Only does procedures with ability to provide 2-3 weeks of coverage/month through end of year possibly into 2026 or until facility finds full-time candidate 

Requirements:   
--Board eligible  
--Fellowship - preferred 
--Licensed in KY or IMLC 
--ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS 
--ERCP and EUS required 

Assignment Details:  
--Reason for coverage: vacancy – long-term permanent search 
--EMR: Athena & Meditech 
--Temporary privileges available- credentialing 30 days 
--Beds in department: 2 
--Hospital is stroke certified 
--Trauma level: 5 
--PEDs level: 3 
--Support staff: 2 RN, 2 MA, 2 APPs, 4 Office Staff 
--Provider not required to supervise APPs or Residents 
--Need gastroenterologist to do procedures in gastro suite, no call, no weekends, does not see patients in office
