A hospital is seeking a gastroenterologist for locum tenens coverage.

Northern Kentucky offers attractions from bars and nightlife, family fun, to beautiful parks and gardens!

Providers should hold BLS, ATLS, and DEA certification and ideally be members of one of the national GI associations (ACG, AGA, ASGE, or AASLD). This is an inpatient, 12-hour on-site role with consults and procedures during the day and no after-hours call. Experience in general GI is required, with preference for providers who can perform ERCP and EUS. Providers should also list all scopes they are proficient in. The GI unit typically sees 1215 consults per day (consult only, no admits), 48 daily procedures, and an average census of 3040. Some rounding during regular hours may be requested. The locum will work alongside midlevel support and have anesthesia available.
