A hospital is seeking a gastroenterologist for locum tenens coverage.

Northern Kentucky offers attractions from bars and nightlife, family fun, to beautiful parks and gardens!

This GI assignment is needed due to team growth and requires a boardcertified MD or DO in gastroenterology with active BLS, ATLS, and DEA, along with membership in one of the major GI professional organizations. Coverage is inpatient and runs Monday 7:30 a.m. to Monday 7:30 a.m. across multiple date blocks from March 2026 through January 2027. The provider will handle general GI cases and must be able to perform ERCP, seeing an average of 5-10 patients per day with 0-5 procedures per call shift. Rounding and admissions are required, and while the locum will not be the sole provider, they will function independently on call days. Support includes an inpatient APRN and anesthesia coverage. Multiple providers may be accepted for the listed dates, and candidates with a Kentucky license or compact license in hand will be prioritized.
