A 84-bed hospital located in northeastern Kentucky serving the regional community is seeking locums coverage. The facility utilizes Meditech electronic medical records system and provides comprehensive gastroenterology services. The hospital seeks coverage due to physician retirement and offers opportunities for both inpatient and outpatient care delivery.

The region offers notable attractions for sports enthusiasts, including facilities dedicated to sports history and cultural experiences. Science and art venues provide additional recreational opportunities for visitors and residents. The area maintains an active job market with regular opportunities across various sectors throughout the year.

The gastroenterologist will provide comprehensive outpatient clinic services Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with additional inpatient and telehealth responsibilities. The position requires completion of 10 call shifts and supervision of advanced practice providers including one nurse practitioner. Daily responsibilities include performing procedures such as EGDs and colonoscopies, conducting 1-2 hours of patient rounding, and managing adult gastroenterology cases across multiple care settings.
