New Urgent Gastroenterologist Locums Job in Maryland | Premium Rates | 24 Hour Call Coverage | February and Ongoing

One of our partnering facilities is seeking locums GI coverage starting in February and ongoing. The locums will be covering 24-hour call with ½ day of scopes and up to ½ day rounding. ERCP and EUS are not required, but physicians willing to do advanced procedures are welcomed. Please reach out to Maddy to apply!

Details/Requirements:
--Start: February and ongoing
--Coverage needed: flexible 1-3 weeks per month
--24-hour call coverage, 7:30am-7:30am
--Typical duties consist of cases from the previous day from 7:30a-10a in call allocated block time. Add-on cases as schedule permits. Consults and follow ups during time in-between cases. 
--½ day scoping (3-5 hours) and ½ day rounding (3-4 hours) 
--Cases performed in unit, ICU at bedside when necessary and in OR occasionally after hours. Rarely in ED.
--Anesthesia and Propofol for all cases 
--EUS and ERCP not required, but preferred
--Procedures include bleeding control, banding of esophageal varices, esophageal foreign body removal, ERCP. 
--Active Maryland license or IMLC
--Board Certified in Gastroenterology required
