Gastroenterologist Locums Job in Missouri | 2025 Dates Open

A well-established hospital in Missouri is offering flexible week-long GI locums opportunities with ongoing shifts expected into 2026. The role focuses on core procedures in a supportive environment, with no advanced procedures required. The hospital has specific shifts open this year and anticipates to have consistent Monday am - Monday am shifts open throughout 2026. 

Dates Needed (shifts Monday am - following Monday am):
--10/27 - 11/3
--11/24 - 12/1
--12/22 - 12-29
--12/29 - 1/4
 
Job Details:
--Bread and butter GI: Colonoscopy/EGD
--ERCP is a bonus and EUS is not necessary 
--Shifts: 24-hour call, hospital rounding 8am-4pm followed by call
--Responsible for answering calls for variable bleeding and covering transfer center
--Expect 1-2 after hour calls per week for scopes 
--Average 25 patients per day
--2-3 scopes per day
--No clinic required
--On-going shifts expected throughout 2026
--Locum Requirements:
--Missouri license required for October start date
--Board Certified required
--Facility Details:
--EMR: EPIC
--Beds: 329
--Level 2 Trauma Center
--Support staff: APP available
--Anesthesia is available 24-7
