Gastroenterology Locums Job | Flexible Schedule | Starting December | Assignment #112549

Coverage: ASAP and ongoing, 1–2 weeks per month
Setting: Hospital-based call coverage (beeper) with minimal clinic coverage

Opportunity Highlights:
--Up to 8 hours/day of scheduled procedures
--Experienced NP support in clinic
--EMR: Athena & Meditech
--Trauma Level IV facility

Required Skills:
--Upper & Lower GI Endoscopy (diagnostic & therapeutic)
--PEG placement
--Colonoscopy with biopsy/polyp excision
--Esophageal dilatation/manometry
--Liver biopsy

Preferred Skills:
--ERCP - highly preferred
--EUS

Requirements:
--Board Certified or Eligible in Gastroenterology
--Fellowship preferred
--BLS certification
--Active New Mexico license 

Additional Details:
--Call response within 30 minutes
--Average: 2 phone consults/day, 4 patients seen/day
