Gastroenterology Locums Job in Oklahoma | In-House + Call | Ongoing Coverage Starting 1/12/2026 | Assignment #112258

Coverage Needed:
-- 1/12/2026 – Ongoing
-- 1-2 weeks per month
-- Facility accepting multiple providers

Shift Descriptions:
-- 12-hour in-house call, 8am-8pm
-- 12-hour beeper call, 8pm-8am
-- Call response time: 15 minutes

Requirements:
-- Evidence of performance of at least 200 therapeutic ERCP procedures, 40 sphincterotomies and 10 stent placements in the past 12 months or completion of training in the past 12 months
-- Board certified or board eligible
-- Fellowship
-- Must be licensed in Oklahoma or IMLC
-- ACLS certification
-- Procedures:
    -- Upper GI endoscopy (with biopsy, foreign body removal, fulguration of bleeder – cautery vs laser, injection of varices)
    -- ERCP (diagnostic and therapeutic) and PEG
    -- Endoscopic ultrasound
    -- Liver biopsy
    -- Insertion/management of Sengstaken/Blakemore tube

Assignment Details:
-- EMR: Epic
-- Patients per shift: 15-20
-- Average number of procedures per shift: 5
-- Callbacks during shift: around 1-3 times overnight per week
-- Phone consults during shift: 0-10
-- Supervise APPs (1 PA/NP on staff)
-- Estimated credentialing timeframe: 60 days
-- Temporary privileges available
