A health system is seeking a gastroenterologist for locum tenens coverage.
The facility is located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
This full-time inpatient GI opportunity is available starting mid-August or early September (or sooner) and will continue until permanent providers are hired. Multiple providers will be needed to cover the 24/7 schedule. Responsibilities include inpatient consults, inpatient endoscopy, and emergency coverageno clinic duties. The facility has 250 beds, and the volume ranges from 3 to 15 consults per day. Providers will work solo, with possible APP support. ERCP is not required. Must be board-certified or truly board-eligible, and the facility uses Epic EMR.
