Job Description

Job Overview
  • Specialty: Gastroenterology
  • Location: Pennsylvania (Will credential at 3 hospitals in the area)
  • Start Date: ASAP, ongoing, Approx 14 shifts monthly available. Must be able to work 5-7 days/month - 60 days to credential
  • Setting: Primarily a hospital setting with an occasional clinic/procedure coverage
  • Mon-Sun - 24 hr shifts - 7:30-4:30 in the hospital plus night call
  • Occasional clinic - 7:30-3:30 plus call
  • Patient Volume: Avg roughly 10 new consults per day for all 3 hospitals combined (10-12 during weekdays and about 8-9 on weekends). Avg about 10 IP procedures per day. Performed over 400 ERCPS across all 3 hospital in 2024.
  • Job Details: consultations, GI procedures including ERCP, EUS, and follow ups.  95% adult
  • Requirements: Must have an active PA license or active IMLC, Must be able to do ERCP and EUS and must be board certified
  • EMR: Epic
