Gastroenterology Hospital Based job located in South Carolina

Seeking a locum full-time Gastroenterologist to start mid-October 2024
Contract Length: 6 months
Schedule Details:
5x9-Hour (08:00 - 17:00)
Mon-Fri:  8a – 5p (clinic)
In the AM, the physician will be in the office doing outpatient and the afternoon until 5 will go to the hospital and see inpatient consults and procedures, as necessary.  
Patients per day: 14
Patient population/age: Adult
Department description: Combination of hospital rounding, clinic and consults. 7 exam rooms. No admissions.
EMR: EPIC
Technology: Pill Camera (No lab or x-ray on site)
Special procedures: PEG (preferred)
Skills required: GI Endoscopy (upper and lower) w/biopsy, foreign body removal, fulguration of bleeder (cautery vs laser), banding of varices, Esophageal dilation/manometry, small bowel biopsy, sigmoidoscopy, colonoscopy w/biopsy and excision of polyp.
The following procedures are not required: Internal Medicine, ERCP, EUS, Liver biopsy, Esophageal manometry interpretation or Insertion/mgmt. of Sengstaken or Blakemore tube.
Practice Setting: Hospital – Acute Care
1 Physician in practice, 2 mid-levels. No lab or X-ray on-site.
Office staff; 2 CMA's, 2 RN's, 2 Registration Staff, 1 Office Supervisor
Outpatient/Inpatient Experience Required 
EMR: EPIC
Requirements: BC, SC license, DEA, BLS, CSR, Must be out of training and have been practicing medicine for at least 2 years
