Level 1 Trauma
Shifts: approximately 9 hours
Practice Type: Hospital, Outpatient Clinic & Free standing GI Center
Approx 10 cases per day
5 other physicians onsite
3 mid-levels
Ancillary Staff: this work will be procedural so it is an OR team and CRNA
Required Procedures: upper GI endoscopy with biopsy, Esophageal dilatation/manometry, manometry interpretation, small bowel biopsy, lower GI endoscopy, sigmoidoscopy, colonoscopy (w/ biopsy and w/ excision of poly), EUS
Preferred Procedures: Upper GI endoscopy (foreign body removal, cautery vs laser, injections with varices, banding of varices, ERCP, liver biopsy, insertion/management of Sengstaken/Blakemore tube
EMR: EPIC
Preferred: SC state license
Required: ACLS, BLS, DEA, CSR
