Two acute-care hospitals that are approximately 8 miles apart are seeking a gastroenterologist for locum tenens coverage.

The facilities are located outside of Charleston, South Carolina.

At the facility, there will be scopes in the morning and the clinician will generally start at 8:00am, but call does start at 7:00am. Then, there will be rounding (patient care) and the clinician will see any consults that are called in. At SMC, there generally will not be as many scopes, and not as many patients to round on. Then, the clinician will be back at the hotel on the evening pager. The schedule will be 7:00am - 7:00pm some days.
