Gastroenterology Physician Locums Job in Texas | Starting May 2026 + Ongoing

Jackson and Coker is partnered with a client in Texas searching for General GI coverage starting May 1, 2026 and ongoing. The hospital had a recent vacancy and will need up to full-time locum tenens coverage in their GI Department.

The assignment will include a mix of inpatient work and outpatient coverage, but call will not be required.

Job Requirements for Assignment #113381:
* Texas medical license (or active IMLC LOQ)
* Board Certification or Board Eligibility within five years
* Seeking candidates with a minimum of 1-2 weeks available per month but can be flexible
* No ERCP or EUS requirement
* Schedule: Full-time; 1-2 days of clinic and 3-4 days of procedures per week. Both clinic and hospital. M-F 8a-5p
* Volume: 20-25 visits per day, high volume
* Procedures: 15-17 per day. General GI, no advanced procedures
* Mid-level support available
* Full 24/7 anesthesia available
* Start date: 5/1/26
* EPIC EMR
* Support staff: Fully staffed endoscopy suite
