South Texas Full-Time Gastroenterologist VA Locums Job | Seeking to Fill 4-5 Full-Time GI Positions for a Mid to Late July Start

Jackson and Coker is partnering with a VA facility in South Texas seeking multiple full-time GI locum tenens physicians for coverage starting ASAP (mid-July/early August) and ongoing. Physicians must hold an active U.S. license (any state) and be Board Certified or truly Board Eligible (ABMS).

Credentialing Requirements:
- Seeking BC or Truly BE ABIM Gastroenterologists (4-6 physicians total)
- Must have an active state license within the US
- Must NOT be on OIG exclusion list
- Must be able to complete all VA-required training (privacy, safety, etc.)
- Must be able to provide past performance references from last 3 years 

Details for Opportunity #115500:
- Seeking candidates with consistent, ongoing availability 
- Bread + Butter GI coverage, No ERCP/EUS
- Scope of coverage: clinic, procedures + inpatient work (to include daily patient rounding & 24-hour call coverage)
- Outpatient procedure volume: ~10 procedures/day (flexible sigmoidoscopy, diagnostic & therapeutic colonoscopy & EGD)
- Inpatient volume: can anticipate between 5-10 new admissions/consults, 2-8 patients to round on each day + 1-5 procedures/day (volume fluctuates)
- Facility is 450+ beds
