Job Description

Chippenham Hospital is seeking a dedicated Inpatient Gastroenterologist to join their growing employed practice in Richmond, Virginia.  

Qualified Candidates:

  • Board certified or board eligible in gastroenterology from an accredited training program
  • Virginia licensure or ability to obtain
  • General gastroenterology position
  • J1 candidates encouraged to apply

  • 466-bed Level l Trauma Center and Level l Burn Center
  • 65-bed Emergency Department
  • 12-bed dedicated Pediatric Emergency Department
  • 15 operating rooms
  • Spacious Labor, Delivery, Recovery and Postpartum suites
  • Tucker Pavilion – 137 beds dedicated to inpatient acute behavioral health care
  • Levinson Heart Institute with four dedicated cardiac ORs, three interventional catheterization and three electrophysiology labs
  • 32-bed Medical Surgical ICU, 12-bed Coronary ICU, and 12-bed dedicated CV I
