Gastroenterology Locums Job in Virginia | 24-Hour Call | Specific Dates Throughout 2026 | Assignment #113558

Coverage Needed:
--6/29 – 7/3 (start Monday @7a end Friday @ 7a) 
--12/21 – 12/25 (start Monday @7a end Friday @ 7a)

Shift Description: 24-hour call

Requirements:
-- Board Certified
-- Must be licensed in Virginia
-- ERCP required, EUS preferred
-- Procedures include Esophageal Dilatation/Manometry, Esophageal Manometry Interpretation, Small Bowel Biopsy, Lower GI Endoscopy, Sigmoidoscopy, Colonoscopy, Liver Biopsy, Insertion/Management of Sengstaken/Blakemore Tube, Upper GI Endoscopy (with Biopsy, with Foreign Body Removal, with Fulguration of Bleeder (Cautery vs. Laser), with Injection of Varices, with Banding of Varices, with ERCP, Diagnostic, Therapeutic, with PEG)

Assignment Details:
-- Labs and X-ray onsite
-- EMR: Epic
-- Average of 8 procedures per week 
-- Outpatient Gastroenterology & Internal Medicine
-- Temporary privileges available
