This clinic and hospital facility is seeking locum tenens gastroenterology coverage to support ongoing patient care needs. The facility maintains the clinical infrastructure necessary to deliver outpatient gastroenterology services, including scoping and general GI care. Coverage is provided on-site with both day shift and call responsibilities.

Virginia and the surrounding region offer clinicians on assignment a range of outdoor recreation, cultural experiences, and year-round regional attractions. The area provides access to scenic natural landscapes, historic sites, and diverse leisure activities throughout the state.

The gastroenterologist will provide general gastroenterology coverage in an outpatient clinic setting, managing approximately 16-18 patients per day. Clinical responsibilities include clinic visits, scoping procedures, and outpatient gastroenterology care delivered on a day shift schedule. Call coverage is required, with a schedule of 4 nights per month. Board certification in Gastroenterology is required for this on-site locum tenens assignment.
