Shift Description
-- 24-Hour In-House Call

Requirements
-- Board Certified in Gastroenterology
-- Must be licensed in Washington or IMLC
-- ACLS, BLS
-- Procedures: 
    -- Upper GI endoscopy (with biopsy, foreign body removal, fulguration of bleeder - cautery vs. laser, injection of varices, ERCP – diagnostic and therapeutic, PEG)
    -- Lower GI endoscopy
    -- Sigmoidoscopy (flexible)
    -- Colonoscopy (with biopsy, excision of polyp)

Assignment Details
-- Level III trauma facility
-- Provider takes call, 5 MAC cases, and hospital rounding
-- EMR: Epic
-- Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days (Temporary privileges available)
