Gastroenterology Hospital Based job located in West Virginia

Hospital seeking BC/BE Locum Gastroenterologist to cover inpatient GI coverage 7/1/2024
--Contract Length: 12 months
--Shift Details: 7 on 7 off
--Schedule: 30 days of coverage 7a-7p options for 7 on 7 off or 14 on 14 off
--We would like to have a commitment for one week at a time, hopefully, one week on and one week off, or at least one week a month, so that we can plan our internal schedule around it.
--Support staff: NP’s Monday – Friday
--Amount of coverage needed per month: 30 days – 3 providers needed
--Consult volume vary with patient census averaging 25 patients
--Rural population with high acuity GI service division. Multiple pathology.
--Adult 18 and above
--7 on shift inpatient consultation plus procedures to manage one of two teams. 
--2nd team would be GI teaching service.
--3rd position would cover 7 on, alternating with current faculty. Total of 3 locum need.
--EMR: Cerner
--Special procedures: EGD Colon non-advanced procedures
--Routine GI skill required
--Requirements: WV license, DEA, ACLS, must have clean background
