General Practice job located in Wilmington, Delaware
Job Description
The psychologists in these positions will join pediatric primary care teams comprised of physicians, medical residents, behavioral health providers, nurses, medical assistants, and care coordinators who provide team-based care to patients and their families. Applicants who are bilingual (English-Spanish) are strongly encouraged to apply.
Successful applicants may split their time across two of the following clinics (e.g., 2 clinical days in each clinic):
- (Login for Information) Children's Health, Jessup Street: The Jessup St. clinic, located in urban Wilmington, is an active training clinic, with medical residents, psychology residents and fellows rotating throughout the year.
- (Login for Information) Children's Health, Becks Woods: The Becks Woods clinic, located just outside of Newark, Delaware, has co-located therapy services on-site including speech, occupational, and physical therapies creating a wonderful opportunity for collaboration.
- (Login for Information) Children's Health, Middletown: The Middletown clinic is a large practice located in the southern part of New Castle County within in a quickly developing area of Middletown.
- (Login for Information) Children's Health, St. Francis: The St. Francis clinic, which is located in urban Wilmington,serves as a main psychology training site for our Bilingual Supervision Program. Every primary care provider and most staff are bilingual English-Spanish.
This role includes many opportunities to participate in program development, leadership, advocacy, and community outreach. In addition, there will be opportunities for quality improvement and research initiatives.
