Job Description

Position Overview:

We are seeking additional anesthesiologists to provide obstetric anesthesia care as well as anesthesia for fetal interventional procedures through our Advanced Delivery Program at (Login for Information) Children's Hospital in Wilmington, DE. The ideal candidate will possess the knowledge and skill to execute best practices and the ability and desire to collaborate within a multi-specialty, multi-disciplinary team. Academic appointment is awarded through Thomas Jefferson University. Research opportunities abound.

Key Points:

  • All OB anesthesia practice with addition of fetal interventional procedures
  • Possibility of combined pediatric and OB practice if pediatric anesthesia fellowship trained
  • Physician only practice
  • Growing program with newly hired interventional MFM team
  • Primarily 24-hour low volume shifts with additional home back up call
  • Reasonable work hours / competitive compensation

Qualifications
  • Medical Degree (MD, DO or equivalent) from an accredited medical school
  • Board certified or board eligible in Anesthesiology
  • Valid medical license & DEA
