Job Description
The selected leader will provide strategic, clinical and administrative leadership for the division. They will oversee the evaluation, diagnosis and management of children with genetic, genomic and metabolic disorders while also ensuring the delivery of compassionate and family-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage division operations including staffing, scheduling, and budget planning
- Develop strategic goals and oversee the implementation of clinical programs, policies, and protocols
- Represent the division in departmental and institutional leadership forums
- Ensure best practices in clinical genetics, genetic counseling, diagnostic interpretation and emerging genomic technologies
- Collaborate with specialists in neonatology, neurology, cardiology, oncology and other pediatric subspecialties as needed

Qualifications:
- MD or DO
- Board certified in specialty
- Eligible for unrestricted Florida medical license and DEA
- Minimum 5 years of experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
