Job Description
(Login for Information) Children's has one of the largest pediatric ENT programs in the country spanning from Central Florida to Delaware. We see everything from breathing and swallowing issues to balance disorders and hearing issues. Our team also specializes in snoring and sleep apnea related diagnosis with close coordination from our sleep study team. Inserting ear tubes and removing tonsils are some of our most common procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Provides care to pediatric patients with acute or chronic illnesses, with a patient/family centered care focus.
- This position will also entail working closely with members of the infection prevention team to support infection prevention initiatives
- Elicits comprehensive or focused/interval health history(ies).
- Performs complete or focused physical examinations.
- Orders, performs, and/or interprets diagnostic or screening tests.
- Orders and interprets radiographs and ultrasounds within the PA scope of practice.
- Develops and revises treatment plans.
- Initiates, monitors, alters, or orders medications related to conditions or illnesses being treated within applicable divisions.
- Orders IV fluids and additives

Qualifications
- Successful completion of Accredited PA program.
- National Certification as a Physician Assistant. Active PA License on hire.
- Must have American Heart Association BLS and PALS
- ENT experience required
- 1 year Pediatric experience preferred
