Job Description

(Login for Information) Children's Health, in Jacksonville, FL, is seeking a Pediatric Electrophysiologist to join our expanding cardiology team. This role offers a unique opportunity to practice at one of the Southeast's leading children's hospitals, providing advanced care to patients with complex congenital and acquired rhythm disorders.

The successful candidate will join a highly collaborative, multidisciplinary team Consisting of a senior pediatric electrophysiologist, advanced nurse practitioner, device nurse, and nurse coordinator dedicated to delivering innovative, family-centered care while contributing to the continued growth of the (Login for Information) Cardiac Center at Wolfson Children's Hospital.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and manage pediatric and congenital cardiac rhythm disorders across infants, children, adolescents, and young adults.
  • Perform and interpret electrophysiology studies, ablations, device implantations (pacemakers, ICDs), and remote monitoring.
  • Collaborate with cardiothoracic surgery, cardiac intensive care, advanced imaging, and general cardiology to provide seamless, comprehensive care.
  • Lead the development of a robust pediatric EP program, with opportunities to expand advanced therapies and procedural volumes.
  • Participate in outreach efforts to grow access and referrals throughout Florida and the Southeast region.
  • Engage in teaching and mentorship of fellows, residents, and medical students; opportunities for clinical and translational research are encouraged and supported.

Qualifications
  • MD, DO, or international equivalent (MBBS, MBChB, etc.) from an accredited medical school.
  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited fellowship in Pediatric Cardiology.
  • Additional fellowship training in Pediatric Electrophysiology (or equivalent advanced EP experience).
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Pediatric Cardiology by the American Board of Pediatrics.
  • Eligible for an unrestricted Florida medical license.
  • Demonstrated expertise in catheter ablation, device implantation, and management of complex arrhythmias in congenital heart disease strongly preferred.
