Qualification Requirements

Candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) from an accredited optometry school

• Active U.S. State Optometry License (or willingness to obtain)

• National Board of Examiners in Optometry (NBEO) certification preferred

• Experience performing comprehensive eye exams and diagnosing ocular conditions

• Ability to prescribe corrective lenses and manage ocular diseases

• Strong patient care and communication skills

• Ability to collaborate with ophthalmologists and healthcare teams when necessary
