This position will require the provider to work weekend days and weekday nights.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer or order diagnostic tests, such as x-ray, electrocardiogram, and laboratory tests.
- Obtain, compile and record patient medical data, including health history, progress notes and results of physical examination.
- Interpret diagnostic test results for deviations from normal.
- Perform therapeutic procedures, such as injections, suturing and wound care, fracture splinting, and incision and drainage, removal of foreign objects, among other procedures.
- Make provisional diagnoses and decisions about management and treatment of patients.
- Prescribe therapy or medication.
- Instruct and counsel patients about prescribed therapeutic regimens and health maintenance.

Qualifications
- MD or DO
- Two to Three years of experience, preferably in a Pediatric Urgent Care or Pediatric Emergency Department setting.
- Board certification/eligibility in Pediatrics or Pediatric Emergency Medicine.
- Current unrestricted Pennsylvania/Delaware licensure and DEA (PA, DE).
