This facility provides expert health care services in coastal communities of a northeastern U.S. region. It is the largest employer in its county, with over 1,000 employees working together to improve community health. The organization is part of a larger integrated health system and shares its mission, vision, and values.

The main campus includes a 25-bed community hospital, a multi-specialty physician practice, a skilled rehabilitation and long-term care facility, and an assisted living facility that offers specialized care for individuals living with Alzheimers and related dementia. The campus also features an independent retirement community.
The facility is located in Damariscotta, Maine.
Due to strong OB coverage, there is a gap in GYN coverage, and the locum will need to have solid GYN skills. The locum will be on call most, if not all, of the listed dates and may be both on-call and in clinic on some days. The clinic team includes OB/GYNs, FM/OBs, and CNMs, with CNMs taking first call and the OB/GYN only called in for complications. Although the OB/GYN department is small, its a highly skilled and close-knit group dedicated to serving their community. Routine GYN exams and procedures include endometrial ablations, IUD insertions/removals, menopausal management, failed medical management, urinary incontinence care, and more.
