A comprehensive cancer center is seeking a hematologist/oncologist for locum tenens coverage.

The facility is located in south Alabama.

This inpatient position focuses primarily on general hematology, with a patient volume of approximately 1525 per day. The schedule follows a rotation of one week every fifth week, with inpatient rounding from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and call coverage during that week, including weeknights and weekends. The need is ongoing, and weekend rounding details will be confirmed by the director.

• Case Load/PPD:  15-25 ppf
• Support Staff:  4 medoncs, 4 APPs, plus radonc, surg onc, colorectal surgeons, etc.
• Patient Population:  Adults
• Call Ratio/Schedule:  1:5
