About the Clinician's Workday

The nurse practitioner will provide comprehensive hematology and oncology care in an emergency room setting, managing 16-18 patients daily during day shifts with no call requirements. Clinical responsibilities include conducting patient evaluations, developing treatment plans for hematologic and oncologic conditions, and coordinating care with the multidisciplinary team. The clinician will work collaboratively with nursing staff and medical assistants to ensure optimal patient outcomes while maintaining accurate documentation through electronic medical record systems.
