The assignment is located at a dedicated outpatient cancer center that provides comprehensive oncology services for patients with cancer and blood disorders. The facility maintains modern treatment capabilities and a collaborative care environment designed to support both hematology and oncology patients. The center operates with established protocols for outpatient cancer treatment delivery and maintains dedicated support staff to ensure quality patient care.

The hematologist/oncologist will provide comprehensive outpatient cancer care with a 60/40 oncology to hematology focus, managing 12-15 patients daily including 2-3 new consultations. Clinical duties include conducting thorough evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, and coordinating care for patients with hematologic and oncologic conditions. The position offers flexible scheduling options with Monday through Thursday coverage and optional Friday administrative time, accommodating both full-time and part-time arrangements of 2-3 days per week. The clinician will maintain 1:8 call coverage that is negotiable and work collaboratively with one additional physician and dedicated PA support to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
