About the Clinician's WorkdayThe hematologist/oncologist will provide comprehensive outpatient hematology and oncology care managing approximately 12 patients per day working 3-4 days per week. Clinical responsibilities include treating 70% oncology and 30% hematology cases including benign hematology conditions from the community with 1:4 call rotation coverage including weeknight and weekend call. The position requires coordination with 4 staff clinicians, 1 advanced practice provider, dedicated nurse navigators, schedulers, and on-site pharmacy support. Each physician maintains assigned nurse navigator and scheduler support for optimal patient care delivery.
