A hospital-based cancer center is seeking a hematology/oncology nurse practitioner for locum tenens coverage.

While in Southern Connecticut, visit Lake Compounce, Gillette Castle State Park, or Beardsley Zoo!

This is an outpatient clinic position with a MondayFriday schedule, either 8am5pm or four 10-hour days depending on candidate preference. There are no weekends or call required. The daily patient volume is 1015. Hospital privileges are required but can typically be obtained quickly within 23 weeks, depending on work history verification. The clinic uses EPIC for EMR and treatment planning. Support staff includes nine oncologists, one APP, two social workers, two dieticians, two clinic nurses, 1215 infusion nurses, four clinic MAs, and four infusion MAs. No specific certifications are required, though strong oncology experience is necessary, with the ability to work independently. An active state license is preferred for submission.
