Hematology/Oncology Hospital Based job located in Hawaii

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate, board-certified or board-eligible Hematologist-Oncologist to join our growing oncology/hematology practice. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive care to patients with cancer and blood disorders, including diagnosis, treatment planning, and long-term disease management. This role involves both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities in a multidisciplinary, team-based care environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and manage a wide range of cancers and hematologic disorders (e.g., anemia, leukemia, lymphoma, clotting disorders)

• Develop and oversee individualized treatment plans including chemotherapy, targeted therapy, and supportive care

• Collaborate with radiologists, pathologists, surgeons, radiation oncologists, and palliative care teams

• Conduct and/or participate in clinical trials and evidence-based research initiatives

• Educate patients and families on disease processes, treatment options, and prognosis

• Monitor and manage side effects of treatment and provide symptom management

• Maintain accurate documentation in electronic medical records (EMR)

• Participate in tumor boards, continuing education, and quality improvement activities

Qualifications:

• M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited institution

• Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency in Internal Medicine

• Fellowship training in Hematology and/or Medical Oncology

• Board certification or eligibility in Hematology and Oncology

• Unrestricted medical license 

• DEA certification
