Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate, board-certified or board-eligible Hematologist-Oncologist to join our growing oncology/hematology practice. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive care to patients with cancer and blood disorders, including diagnosis, treatment planning, and long-term disease management. This role involves both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities in a multidisciplinary, team-based care environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose and manage a wide range of cancers and hematologic disorders (e.g., anemia, leukemia, lymphoma, clotting disorders)

Develop and oversee individualized treatment plans including chemotherapy, targeted therapy, and supportive care

Collaborate with radiologists, pathologists, surgeons, radiation oncologists, and palliative care teams

Conduct and/or participate in clinical trials and evidence-based research initiatives

Educate patients and families on disease processes, treatment options, and prognosis

Monitor and manage side effects of treatment and provide symptom management

Maintain accurate documentation in electronic medical records (EMR)

Participate in tumor boards, continuing education, and quality improvement activities
Qualifications:

M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited institution

Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency in Internal Medicine

Fellowship training in Hematology and/or Medical Oncology

Board certification or eligibility in Hematology and Oncology

Unrestricted medical license

DEA certification
